Inner City Mission provides shelter, sustenance, education and Christian counseling to homeless children, their parents and single women while keeping Biblical truths about godly righteousness before our culture, community, and fellow Christians.

ICM works for the mental and spiritual transformation of the heart, mind, and soul of those who find themselves homeless, giving them the needed tools to obtain and maintain permanent housing. This is accomplished by providing a safe environment in which the love of God can do its work.

OUR philosophy

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the

winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not

fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

- Matthew 7:25 (NIV)

In the final illustration of the greatest sermon ever preached, Jesus tells us that the storms of life will come. We can count on it. But, the question is, will these storms find us safe, secure and living on the rock, or will they find us struggling to survive on the sand? And what about those who already built on the sand? How do we help them find the rock?

We do this by providing an environment in which the homeless can grow relationally by experiencing the love of God. This is the work Inner City Mission has been carrying on successfully since 1985.

our Foundation

'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;

Matthew 25:35

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

Isaiah 58:6-7

Jesus charged the church with providing for those in need. He did not see the church as an institution, but as a community of believers--the body of Christ.

Inner City Mission exists solely by God's grace, as exhibited by those who believe in and support our ministry financially. We do not accept government financing.
