ICM stands witness to the brokenness of abuse, molestation, abandonment, rebellion, addiction, and trauma. Damage to the individual caused by these and other factors may not be visible on the human body, but the toll to the human psyche is enormous.
Only a godly understanding of one’s self and others, allowing for the gradual development of healthy relationships, can overcome this. It was for that purpose that our rehabilitation program, Stability for Life, was developed.
ICM creates a safe environment in which the homeless can relax, live without fear, and build trust in others as they learn to understand and accept themselves and those around them in a positive, productive manner. When homeless children and adults discover who they are in relationship to God and others, they are able to move from the shattered state of poverty to that of joy and peace.
