Iam married with two adult daughters and two grandchildren. I was a homemaker for 22 years. I educated our daughters through high school, then returned to school myself, completing my BA in Human Services at Lincoln Christian University. I have always been drawn to the work done at Inner City Mission.
As I look back over my life, I can see how God has put his fingerprints on the positive and negative events of my life. He is using my experiences to help others in their lives and struggles. It is as if my entire life has been to train for what I am doing now at ICM. I can relate to Moses, two thirds of his life in preparation and the last third using his accumulated training.
There was a time in my life that if not for the support of family, I would have become homeless. It is my privilege and honor to be a part of the ICM family and to have the opportunity to show broken and hurting people that someone really does care. I am blessed, honored, and humbled to be a part of what God is doing here.
